Play Speech and debate

Our Mission
PLAY Foundation Speech and Debate was founded in 2019. The group is designed to create public speaking skills as well as build communication and critical thinking skills.
This activity offers something for everyone. If you like acting, public speaking, reading, researching, writing, or even meeting new people, this group is for you. Students will use these skills in school and for the rest of their lives.

2024 Public Forum Debate Spring Session
We are excited to host this year's 2024 Public Forum Online Spring Session! We are offering this to students who are 4th grade and up. These classes will help students develop fundamental debate skills that will help them in the future. These classes offer a low student-to-staff ratio and will allow students to have the opportunity to practice debate and public speaking. The teachers have all had 5+ years of debate experience and received multiple awards at national competitions.

Students will participate in drills and speaking evaluations as well as homework and classwork assignments.
