Introduction
Welcome to the PLAY Competitive Robotics Subgroup!
Our subgroup is focused on teaching students about the world of VEX competition robotics. VEX Robotics is a robotics program for elementary through university students and a subset of Innovation First International (https://www.vexrobotics.com/competition). Our subgroup offers classes about VEX competitions and also covers topics about how robots are built and programmed. These classes will help inspire students to develop an interest in STEM careers and discover how much fun robots can be.
The subgroup will offer 10 class sessions during the Fall, Spring and Summer. The topics for the classes are provided below.
