Introduction
The PLAY Foundation Museum Subgroup was founded on August 2021 by Leo Zhang (Class of '24). Our primary goals include educating the community about different areas of the world by exploring museums in the bay area and encourage critical thinking and research capabilities through publishing newsletters to the community. All of those are short-term, however, our long-term goal is to give back to the communities via educating community members and individuals interested in museums by becoming docents. Members of the Museum Subgroup will have the opportunity to receive training and become docents at nearby museums. This, along with contribution to the newsletter and other activities, all count as volunteer hours, which members can use towards applying for the President's Volunteer Service Award.

Eric Niu
Eric Niu is a junior at Amador Valley High School and the current leader of the PLAY Museum Subgroup. He served as co-leader for the museum subgroup from 2022 to 2023. He took over the leadership of the group from the founder, Leo Zhang, in August of 2023. Some of his hobbies include violin, swimming, and doing competition physics.
