Based on community interest in baking and food in general, this club would facilitate the gathering of serious bakers who want to improving their baking skills. The purpose would not be to make perfect products but to have fun and help each other grow. Rather than the simple fare such as cupcakes and cookies that other clubs often bake, our club members would tackle more challenging desserts like French pastries, cakes, macarons, and even baked macaroni and cheese. Every 6 months, we would aim to master a new technique, and by each year, we would like to be ready to share our bakes with charities.To make ourselves useful, we would collaborate with other organizations to raise money for local charities as well as for Play Club itself.
